Tampa Bay

There are plenty of things that make the Tampa area a great place to visit, not the least of which is the weather. There’s a reason it’s called the Sunshine State, with an average of 250 days of sunshine per year. Even in the “rainy” times it’s still sunny, just with a few showers here and there. During the so-called “Winter” season (sorry, but as a Canadian I find it hard to call this winter) the temperature might get into the low 40s, but usually that’s just in the morning – the average temperature in December and January is in the 50s. February and March are like paradise: warm with no humidity.
